Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Merry Alpern could be acquired at Christies in New York in April 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Untitled #2 And #6, From The Series 'Window,' 1994 changed hands for USD 2,750.00 (€ 1,982.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Merry Alpern have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, de la série Dirty Window, 1994 in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 11,250.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Merry Alpern konnte im April 2014 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Untitled #2 And #6, From The Series 'Window,' 1994 für USD 2.750,00 (€ 1.982,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00.
