The work Untitled #3, From The "Window" Series by Merry Alpern was sold in the Stonewall@50 Photographs Online auction at Bonhams in New York in July 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,275.00 (€ 1,145.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Merry Alpern have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, de la série Dirty Window, 1994 in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 11,250.00.

Die Arbeit Untitled #3, From The "Window" Series von Merry Alpern wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Stonewall@50 Photographs Online bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.275,00 (€ 1.145,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Merry Alpern auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, de la série Dirty Window, 1994 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.250,00.
