In the New Now auction, the work without title sold for USD 27,720.00 (€ 23,944.03) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Melike Kara; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Tankstelle (mother) sold at auction in September 2020 with the realized price of USD 32,500.00 (€ 27,735.11).
