Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Blah, Blah, Blah by Mel Bochner was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction auction at Phillips in 6 - in September this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,510.00 (€ 15,599.02). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mel Bochner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blah, Blah, Blah in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 159,249.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Blah, Blah, Blah von Mel Bochner wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction bei Phillips in 6 - versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.510,00 (€ 15.599,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mel Bochner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blah, Blah, Blah im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 159.249,19).
