Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work If you can dream, fair sky will be waiting for you by Maya Ishii was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2009. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 65,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,278.32). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maya Ishii - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tremor; & Glitter, which sold at auction in November 2010 for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 19,760.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit If you can dream, fair sky will be waiting for you von Maya Ishii wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 65.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.278,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Maya Ishii mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tremor; & Glitter beobachtet, die im November 2010 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 19.760,66) versteigert wurde.
