Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Something Irreplaceable; & Restless Waves by Maya Ishii. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,934.72), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Maya Ishii have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tremor; & Glitter in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 19,760.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Something Irreplaceable; & Restless Waves von Maya Ishii zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.934,72) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maya Ishii auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tremor; & Glitter im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 19.760,66).
