Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Pair Of Wall Lights, Model No. 2093 by Max Ingrand was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,726.50) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Max Ingrand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Suspension, Vers 1950 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 22,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Pair Of Wall Lights, Model No. 2093 von Max Ingrand kam im Dezember 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.726,50) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Max Ingrand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Suspension, Vers 1950 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.350,00.
