Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Max Ingrand could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the CURATED: TURN IT UP auction, the work A Pair Of Wall Lights, Model No. 2093 changed hands for HKD 12,500.00 (€ 1,364.86) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Ingrand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suspension, Vers 1950 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 22,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Max Ingrand konnte im Juni 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion CURATED: TURN IT UP wechselte die Arbeit A Pair Of Wall Lights, Model No. 2093 für HKD 12.500,00 (€ 1.364,86) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Max Ingrand erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suspension, Vers 1950 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.350,00.
