Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction, which included the work Mirror by Max Ingrand. The price achieved of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 5,474.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Max Ingrand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Suspension, Vers 1950 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 22,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mirror von Max Ingrand zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 5.474,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Max Ingrand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Suspension, Vers 1950 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.350,00.
