In April 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary, which included the work Walk by Maurice Wyckaert. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 12,500.00 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Maurice Wyckaert; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Belgian Untitled sold at auction in December 2007 with the realized price of EUR 24,250.00.

Im April 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Walk von Maurice Wyckaert zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 12.500,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Maurice Wyckaert; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Belgian Untitled im Dezember 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 24.250,00.
