It changed hands for a price of EUR 18,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mattia Moreni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Una nuvola in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 107,574.41).

Die Arbeit Il Ricordo Di Un Melo von Mattia Moreni kam im Mai 2012 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 18.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mattia Moreni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Una nuvola im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 72.000,00 (€ 107.574,41).
