The work Nuvola Gialla by Mattia Moreni was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in November 2019. It achieved a price of EUR 75,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mattia Moreni; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Una nuvola sold at auction in October 2006 with the realized price of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 107,574.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nuvola Gialla von Mattia Moreni kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 75.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mattia Moreni; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Una nuvola im Oktober 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 72.000,00 (€ 107.574,41).
