Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cartello penoso nel campo col temporale (Moulin Rouge) by Mattia Moreni was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. The price achieved of EUR 30,240.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mattia Moreni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Una nuvola, which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 72,000.00 (€ 107,574.41).

Die Arbeit Cartello penoso nel campo col temporale (Moulin Rouge) von Mattia Moreni kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 30.240,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mattia Moreni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Una nuvola beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 72.000,00 (€ 107.574,41) versteigert wurde.
