Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art | Milan, which included the work La Scatola Dell'Alienato Ma Con Disposizione Alla Pittura Infantile-Patologica-Regressiva by Mattia Moreni. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 21,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Mattia Moreni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Una nuvola in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 107,574.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Scatola Dell'Alienato Ma Con Disposizione Alla Pittura Infantile-Patologica-Regressiva von Mattia Moreni zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 21.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mattia Moreni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Una nuvola im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 72.000,00 (€ 107.574,41).
