Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2011 Koller held the auction Gemälde Alter Meister, which included the work Ideale Landschaft mit Brunnen. by Matthias Withoos. The price achieved of CHF 14,400.00 (€ 11,833.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matthias Withoos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape With Drugged Birds In The Flower And Underbrush Of The Wood in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 123,995.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2011 führte Koller die Auktion Gemälde Alter Meister durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ideale Landschaft mit Brunnen. von Matthias Withoos zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 14.400,00 (€ 11.833,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matthias Withoos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape With Drugged Birds In The Flower And Underbrush Of The Wood im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 123.995,41).
