Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chrysler Building, 2020 by Matthew Lindop was sold in the Christie's London Staff Auction auction at Christies in New York in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 252.00 (€ 292.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matthew Lindop achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Piccadilly Circus no. 38 in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,689.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chrysler Building, 2020 von Matthew Lindop wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Christie's London Staff Auction bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 252,00 (€ 292,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matthew Lindop erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Piccadilly Circus no. 38 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.689,23).
