The result of GBP 250.00 (€ 280.30) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 250.00 – 350.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matthew Benedict achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Mariner's Baptism in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,447.91).
