Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Matt Mullican was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in July 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 6,048.00. Admittedly, works by Matt Mullican have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September 2005 with an auction result of USD 45,600.00 (€ 37,817.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Matt Mullican kam im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 6.048,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matt Mullican auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 45.600,00 (€ 37.817,22).
