Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Newz! by Math Bass was sold in the The Hoarder Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,205.60). Admittedly, works by Math Bass have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Newz! in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 76,926.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Newz! von Math Bass wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion The Hoarder Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.205,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Math Bass auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Newz! im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 76.926,72).
