Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Massimo Vitali could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art | London auction, the work Medima Wave Horizontal changed hands for GBP 7,560.00 (€ 9,017.49) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Massimo Vitali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rosignano in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 151,000.00 (€ 95,539.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Massimo Vitali konnte im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art | London wechselte die Arbeit Medima Wave Horizontal für GBP 7.560,00 (€ 9.017,49) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Massimo Vitali erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rosignano im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.000,00 (€ 95.539,39).
