Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Confection: Praline Queen by Marylyn Dintenfass was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2020. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,266.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marylyn Dintenfass - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Parallel Park series: Coupe de Ville; Daytona; Fairlaine Flow; and Galaxie XL, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,671.06).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.266,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Marylyn Dintenfass mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Parallel Park series: Coupe de Ville; Daytona; Fairlaine Flow; and Galaxie XL beobachtet, die im November 2010 für USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.671,06) versteigert wurde.
