Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Deadly Beautiful: Oleander Ii by Marylyn Dintenfass was sold in the Prints & Multiples Online auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,946.78). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marylyn Dintenfass - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Parallel Park series: Coupe de Ville; Daytona; Fairlaine Flow; and Galaxie XL, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,671.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Deadly Beautiful: Oleander Ii von Marylyn Dintenfass wurde im März 2020 in der Auktion Prints & Multiples Online bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.946,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Marylyn Dintenfass mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Parallel Park series: Coupe de Ville; Daytona; Fairlaine Flow; and Galaxie XL beobachtet, die im November 2010 für USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.671,06) versteigert wurde.
