This artwork by Mary Potter achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in September 2021. In the Blazing a TrailModern British Women auction, the work Red House, Pool sold for GBP 11,475.00 (€ 13,351.32) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mary Potter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Evening II, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,600.84).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mary Potter erzielte im September 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Blazing a TrailModern British Women wurde die Arbeit Red House, Pool für GBP 11.475,00 (€ 13.351,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mary Potter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Evening II beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.600,84) versteigert wurde.
