Auction result misses estimated price range
In February this year a collector was able to acquire the work Atmospheric Cypress and Spring Cherry Orchard (a group of two) by Mary DeNeale Morgan for USD 701.25 (€ 661.43). This price was achieved in the auction Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mary DeNeale Morgan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Overlooking Fan Shell Beach (Pebble Beach) in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 19,975.00 (€ 21,414.02).
