Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape - Trees and Stream 19 x 13 1/2 in. framed 34 x 28 in. by Mary DeNeale Morgan for USD 1,912.50 (€ 1,787.72). This price was achieved in the auction California and Western Art Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mary DeNeale Morgan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Overlooking Fan Shell Beach (Pebble Beach) in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 19,975.00 (€ 21,414.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape - Trees and Stream 19 x 13 1/2 in. framed 34 x 28 in. von Mary DeNeale Morgan für USD 1.912,50 (€ 1.787,72) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mary DeNeale Morgan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Overlooking Fan Shell Beach (Pebble Beach) im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.975,00 (€ 21.414,02).
