Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Martin Stainforth could be acquired at Sothebys in Melbourne in May 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Australian Art auction, the work British Trafalgar Winning The Randwick Plate changed hands for AUD 4,800.00 (€ 2,716.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00.
