Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Martin Schoeller achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in September 2020. In the Photographs auction, the work Angelina with Blood sold for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,566.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Martin Schoeller; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Angelina with Blood, 2003 sold at auction in November 2010 with the realized price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,849.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Martin Schoeller erzielte im September 2020 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit Angelina with Blood für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.566,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 9.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Martin Schoeller; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Angelina with Blood, 2003 im November 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 35.849,95).
