A top price for Martin Grelle
In October 2020 Christies in New York held the auction The Legend of the West: Iconic Works from the T. Boone Pickens Collection, which included the work The River's Gift by Martin Grelle. The »bidding war« ended at USD 350,000.00 (€ 300,506.57), 17% above the upper estimate. With this result, The River's Gift is even the most expensive work of art by Martin Grelle that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The Legend of the West: Iconic Works from the T. Boone Pickens Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit The River's Gift von Martin Grelle zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 350.000,00 (€ 300.506,57) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist The River's Gift sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Martin Grelle, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
