It achieved a price of USD 157,000.00 (€ 100,899.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martin Grelle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The River's Gift, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 350,000.00 (€ 300,506.57).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 157.000,00 (€ 100.899,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Für andere Arbeiten von Martin Grelle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The River's Gift beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für USD 350.000,00 (€ 300.506,57) versteigert wurde.
