The work Dessin Ligné (Lined Drawing) by Marthe Wéry was worth GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,635.83) to a buyer in October 2016. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Auction at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Marthe Wéry; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in October 2016 with the realized price of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,205.98).

Die Arbeit Dessin Ligné (Lined Drawing) von Marthe Wéry war einem Käufer im Oktober 2016 GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.635,83) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Marthe Wéry; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.205,98).
