Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Marlow Moss achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2000. In the TWENTIETH CENTURY ART auction, the work Composition blue, red, black and white sold for NLG 72,552.40 (€ 33,989.64) - well above the upper estimate of NLG 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marlow Moss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work White and Black in October last year with an auction result of GBP 378,000.00 (€ 440,365.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marlow Moss erzielte im November 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART wurde die Arbeit Composition blue, red, black and white für NLG 72.552,40 (€ 33.989,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von NLG 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marlow Moss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit White and Black im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 378.000,00 (€ 440.365,81).
