This artwork by Marlow Moss achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October last year. In the Modern British & Irish Art Evening Sale auction, the work White and Black sold for GBP 378,000.00 (€ 440,365.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 150,000.00. This high result makes White and Black the most expensive artwork by Marlow Moss that we have observed at auctions so far.
