Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work White, Red And Black by Marlow Moss was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2013. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 56,250.00 (€ 64,275.43). Admittedly, works by Marlow Moss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work White and Black in October last year with an auction result of GBP 378,000.00 (€ 440,365.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit White, Red And Black von Marlow Moss kam im Juli 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 56.250,00 (€ 64.275,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marlow Moss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit White and Black im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 378.000,00 (€ 440.365,81).
