Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Markus Raetz achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2019. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Gyroskop (Gyroscope) sold for GBP 60,000.00 (€ 69,640.19) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Markus Raetz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hasenspiegel in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 415,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Markus Raetz erzielte im März 2019 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Gyroskop (Gyroscope) für GBP 60.000,00 (€ 69.640,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Markus Raetz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hasenspiegel im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 415.500,00.
