Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Markus Raetz was sold in the Art contemporain - vente online auction at Christies in Paris in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,016.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Markus Raetz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hasenspiegel in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 415,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Markus Raetz wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Art contemporain - vente online bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.016,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Markus Raetz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hasenspiegel im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 415.500,00.
