Auction result well in line with expectations
The work S.O.T. by Markus Linnenbrink was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in March this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 15,240.00 (€ 14,017.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Markus Linnenbrink have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2021 the work Wechsel II was auctioned for EUR 22,500.00.

Die Arbeit S.O.T. von Markus Linnenbrink wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 15.240,00 (€ 14.017,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
