Auction result well in line with expectations
The work John F. Kennedy, Jackie, and Caroline at the Kennedy Family's Hyannis Port Compound by Mark Shaw was sold in the Photographs Now The Collector's Edition auction at Bonhams in London in July this year. The price achieved of USD 1,024.00 (€ 929.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Shaw achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Audrey Hepburn for Life Magazine during filming of the 1954 Paramount production Sabrina, Los Angeles, 1953 in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 63,816.35).
