Sold at the lower estimate price
In October 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Selected Images from Westward the Course of Empire, 1996–2004 by Mark Ruwedel. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,446.88) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Mark Ruwedel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2015 the work works from Westward the Course of Empire, 1997-2005 was auctioned for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,904.91).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Selected Images from Westward the Course of Empire, 1996–2004 von Mark Ruwedel zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.446,88) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Mark Ruwedel konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2015 die Arbeit works from Westward the Course of Empire, 1997-2005 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.904,91) versteigert.
