In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Winter tourists picnicking on running board of car, Sarasota, Florida, 1941 changed hands for USD 750.00 (€ 566.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marion Post Wolcott achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vegetable pickers, migrants, waiting after work to be paid, near Homestead, Florida, Feb 1939 in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 21,420.00 (€ 18,542.24).
