Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,750.00 (€ 1,934.03). Admittedly, works by Marion Post Wolcott have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vegetable pickers, migrants, waiting after work to be paid, near Homestead, Florida, Feb 1939 in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 21,420.00 (€ 18,542.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tenant Farmer's Children, One with Ricketts, Wadesboro, North Carolina, 1938 von Marion Post Wolcott wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.750,00 (€ 1.934,03) einen neuen Besitzer.
