A top price for Mario Sorrenti - as previously expected
The work Kate on Roof, 1993 by Mario Sorrenti was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in New York in April 2019. The price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,479.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Kate on Roof, 1993 is the most expensive artwork by Mario Sorrenti that we have observed at auctions so far.
