However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Raciti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mitologia, which sold at auction in November 2000 for ITL 3,760,000.00 (€ 3,459.86).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 900,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 29 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario Raciti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mitologia beobachtet, die im November 2000 für ITL 3.760.000,00 (€ 3.459,86) versteigert wurde.
