This artwork by Mario Raciti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in November 2000. In the ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA auction, the work Mitologia sold for ITL 3,760,000.00 (€ 3,459.86) - well above the upper estimate of ITL 2,000,000.00. This high result makes Mitologia the most expensive artwork by Mario Raciti that we have observed at auctions so far.
