Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Presenze - Assenze II by Mario Raciti was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,560.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Raciti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mitologia, which sold at auction in November 2000 for ITL 3,760,000.00 (€ 3,459.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Presenze - Assenze II von Mario Raciti kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.560,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario Raciti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mitologia beobachtet, die im November 2000 für ITL 3.760.000,00 (€ 3.459,86) versteigert wurde.
