Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Dallo spazio totale by Mario Nigro for EUR 20,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea | Gioielli e Orologi | Argenti at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 22,000.00 – 26,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Nigro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pannello A Scacchi Bianchi E Neri, which sold at auction in April 2014 for EUR 76,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dallo spazio totale von Mario Nigro für EUR 20.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea | Gioielli e Orologi | Argenti bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 22.000,00 – 26.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario Nigro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pannello A Scacchi Bianchi E Neri beobachtet, die im April 2014 für EUR 76.800,00 versteigert wurde.
