In March 2013 Il Ponte held the auction Important Paintings of the XIX Century | Antique and XIX Century Furnishings | Antique Paintings | A Collection of Gouaches from Naples | Objects from H.E. Cardinal A. Scola's Collection, which included the work The Small Sanctuary by Mario Moretti Foggia. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,200.00 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Mario Moretti Foggia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alle tombe dei califfi in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 7,562.00 (€ 8,879.64).

Im März 2013 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Important Paintings of the XIX Century | Antique and XIX Century Furnishings | Antique Paintings | A Collection of Gouaches from Naples | Objects from H.E. Cardinal A. Scola's Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Small Sanctuary von Mario Moretti Foggia zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.200,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Moretti Foggia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alle tombe dei califfi im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.562,00 (€ 8.879,64).
