This work of art by Mario Moretti Foggia could be acquired at Il Ponte in April 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Damasco, Siria changed hands for EUR 5,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 6,000.00 – 6,500.00. Other works by Mario Moretti Foggia have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2019 by the work Alle tombe dei califfi at GBP 7,562.00 (€ 8,879.64).
