The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Piccolo caimano in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 962,500.00 (€ 1,346,297.09).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 11.875,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Merz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Piccolo caimano im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 962.500,00 (€ 1.346.297,09).
