Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2009 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Nina by Mário Cravo Neto. The price achieved of USD 1,000.00 (€ 755.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Mário Cravo Neto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Luciana in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,504.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2009 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nina von Mário Cravo Neto zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.000,00 (€ 755,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mário Cravo Neto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Luciana im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.504,13).
