A top price for Marina Cruz
This artwork by Marina Cruz achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. In the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction, the work Blushed and Blemished sold for HKD 630,000.00 (€ 74,794.52) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. This high result makes Blushed and Blemished the most expensive artwork by Marina Cruz that we have observed at auctions so far.
